When I met up with Andrew yesterday a few hours before the ceremony he was concerned about the weather forecast. It was looking like rain right at about 6pm when the ceremony was scheduled to end, and he was hoping we could get it in in time. He asked Jonnell, the wedding coordinator if maybe we could start a bit early, but that sort of thing wouldn't be fair to those guests that would arrive on time, so we did our best to be done with our pre-ceremony portraits as soon as we could so we could go off exactly at 5:30.
It was Friday the 13th so we all had our fingers crossed, but we had nothing to worry about because Katelyn, who had picked that day on purpose, had some magic on her side.
We did her Bridal Portraits first and the lighting was perfect. There's this little spot at A & M Gardens with just the right amount of shade for a natural light photographer like myself and she looks absolutely stunning. Shout out to Ashley Marie for her amazing makeup job.
After a mini session with her Bridesmaids and Bridesman it was Andrews turn.
The ceremony went off without a hitch, and the rain stayed away the entire night. Lucky Friday the 13th.
They were so excited to kiss each other they could barely hold back!
This little Bamboo path is a great place for some intimate photos.
Katelyn took a smoke break and then we did some bridal party photos.
We did a quick couple of silhouettes with the help of a few cousins, then it was time to party.
They had a great idea to do both a bubble AND sparkler exit. It worked incredibly well!
Katelyn was pretty tired at the end of the night, but I hope she remembers it as one of the best days of her life, and I am glad I was able to help her do so by capturing all her memories for her.
