Kathy and Ryan had their wedding at The Springs Event Venue this past Saturday and despite the cold weather, they truly had the perfect day. Everyone was in high spirits, if not a little nervous (especially Ben, the Groom's brother, who was nervous about his speech but who knocked it out of the park with one of the best delivered best man speeches I've ever seen.)
Kathy looked absolutely stunning in her bridal gown, and Ryan looked dapper and handsome in his suit. The ceremony was so touching to witness and their personal vows were so emotional while also being very cerebral at times (I think I remember Ryan relating his love for Kathy as being like physics.)
After the ceremony we ran through the bridal party and family photos as fast as we could before the ladies at My Fab Florals had to change over the space for the reception (thank you for your patience Robin.)
After the intros the bride and groom went into their expertly choreographed first dance (who knew Ryan had such moves in him!) followed by the two parent dances and dinner. After dinner there were speeches by the best man, the maid of honor, the brother of the bride, another bridesmaid and the brother of the bride's friend....then, the party started...and it got wild!
It was so fun to shoot and it was an honor to be a part of capturing this wonderful couple's wedding day for them.
