Amy and Jared had a sweet little intimate wedding at the Springs Event Venue in Denton this past Thursday and it turned out to be quite a wonderful day. The weather was perfect, if not a bit windy, but there was some cloud cover which is ideal for pictures, especially when you're a natural light photographer like myself.
I had done Amy and Jared's engagement photos quite a long time ago, and had done Amy's bridal shoot just a couple of weeks prior and we had a ton of fun each time, at least when we weren't battling that same wind during the bridal session and also a wardrobe malfunction (that's one of the values of a bridal shoot as it can serve as a dry run before the wedding the iron out any last minute kinks.)
They decided on doing a first look and getting all the photos done beforehand(which is an excellent idea if you're wanting to enjoy the rest of the day as much as possible. Nothing breaks up the flow of a wedding day like having an hour long photo shoot right in the middle of it. The only downside is that you lose out on that first look being when the bride is coming down the aisle, but first looks before the ceremony can be just as sweet.)
We had a fun bridal party session, followed by some family photos. There was basically nothing to do after the ceremony but party!
Amy wanted to keep the ceremony short and sweet, and it was!
The reception was intimate and sweet as well.
During the golden hour we went out for some couple's photos to cap off an amazing night.
