1. Plan ahead
The more prepared you are, the less stressed you'll feel on your wedding day. Make a list of everything you need to do and start checking things off early. Things won't always go exactly to the plan you make, but it's always better to have something to refer to to try to keep things on time.
2. Delegate tasks
Don't try to do everything yourself. Ask your friends and family for help with the planning and execution of your wedding. The whole point of having a bridal party is to have people who you can rely on to help out with the tasks that need to be taken care of during the day. Make sure the best man and maid of honor have plenty of responsibilities to help keep their mind off of the stress of having to make a speech!
These are the people who you will be relying on throughout your marriage so give them plenty of practice on your wedding day!
3. Take breaks
It's important to relax and enjoy your day. Schedule some time for yourself to take a break from the hustle and bustle. The little moments are the most important ones. Don't let the big stuff take your focus away from what's most important: your love for each other.
4. Be flexible
Things don't always go according to plan on a wedding day. Be prepared to make changes and go with the flow. Like I said earlier, it's better to have a plan you can refer back to when things go awry, and no wedding ever goes off exactly according to plan.
5. Enjoy yourself!
This is the most important tip of all!!!!
This is your day to celebrate your love with your partner. Make sure to take some time to enjoy the moment.
Here are some extra tips for the day of your wedding:
Get a good night's sleep. You'll need your energy for your big day.
Eat a healthy breakfast. This will help you avoid getting hangry later in the day.
Hydrate. It's important to stay hydrated, especially if you're drinking alcohol.
Dress comfortably. You'll be on your feet all day, so make sure you're wearing shoes that are comfortable.
